GET TO KNOW GERMANY
THE SECOND HINDENBURG SERIES
P231 / 08

The second Hindenburg series of Get to Know Germany appeared in early 1934 and are refered to as P231 in the Michel series. This series comprises only 9 different cards, all with the 'Lernt Deutschland Kennen!' heading and 6Rpf pre-printed Hindenburg stamp. This series is distinquished by a somewhat shorter tail to the 'e' in 'Postkarte'. Series three has an even shorter tail to the 'e'.



The inscription below the image reads "Eisenmoorbad Pretzsch (Elbe) | Erfolgreichs heilbad für Rheuma, Ischias, Sicht, | Frauenleiden aller Art"

'Eisenmoorbad Pretzsch (Elbe) - Successful spa for rheumatism, sciatica, sight - women's ailments of all kinds'.
