TYPE 9
Type 9 feldpost cards all feature a small hand-drawn image at the bottom of the sender's section along with the abbreviation "Absender:" and three dotted lines. There is a printer's code in the bottom left-hand corner. To the right of the vertical dividing line are the words "Feldpost", "Portofrei" and "An" followed by three dotted lines and a single solid line. The reverse side is blank.

TANKS on the ATTACK
T/0217
The feldpost card below features advancing German infantry supported by tanks heading towards a village and has the printer's code T/0217. This card differs slightly in that the third line in the destination is a dotted lin rather than a solid line. The card was dated 1st Apr 1943 but was never posted.
