TYPE 3

Type 3 feldpost cards feature an image that takes up about 3/4 of the sender's section, along with the abbreviation "Abs:". The destination section has the words "FELDPOST- | SPRUCHKARTE", four thin lines and one thick line for the destination address. The reverse side of the card is blank.

1. OAK LEAVES and CROSSED SWORDS

The first card features 8 lines of text surrounded by an oak leaf laurel and crossed swords. with an iron cross medal at the bottom of the oak leaves. The text reads as follows:

Wir Leben

um nicht zu vergehen.

Daβ sich unsere zeit

The third card features 5 lines of text surrounded by an oak leaf, laurel and crossed swords. with an iron cross medal at the bottom of the oak leaves. The text reads as follows:

4. RIVER FORTIFICATION

This next card features a river running through a fortified ravine. The text reads as follows:

Meit ist das land, das sich die offenbart
Schon ist die Erde deutscher Begenwart!
Reich sind die herzen, die durch kampf und not
Bemeinsam schreiten in das Morgenrot!
Stark ist das volf, doch stärtker ist der Beist,
der Deutschland, zukunft,
ADOLF HITLER heiβt.

My country is now revealing itself, the land of the German present is already here! Rich are the hearts that, through struggle and hardship, Stride together into the dawn! The people are strong, but stronger is the support, that of Germany, the future, ADOLF HITLER.

5. FANFARE BLARING

This card features two bugles with a village and rising sun in the background.

The text reads:

"Vorwärts schmettern die fanfaren
In den leuchtend hellen Tag!
Wer sich se dem zier gegeben,
Der lernt härte, kanof und leben,
Was auch immer koinmen mag."

The fanfares blare forward, Into the bright, shining day! Whoever has given himself over to this grace, Learns hardship, courage and life, Whatever may come.
