The 1941 versions of these VDA cards all have a strong military theme. Some of these cards were part of the initial (c.1940) release but they have now been reissued with a large bold printing on the reverse that reads "VDA | Volksdeutsches kameradschaftsopfer | der deutschen Jugend" - 'VDA Volksdeutsches company sacrifice of the German youth', and a date of either September, October or November 1941.
