REICH LABOUR SERVICE

Introduction: The Reich Labor Service ( RAD ) was an organization in the Nazi German Reich . The law for the Reich Labor Service was passed on 26th Jun 1935. Section 1 (2) read: "All young Germans of both sexes are obliged to serve their people in the Reich Labor Service." Section 3 (1) read: "The Führer and Reich Chancellor shall determine the number of conscripts to be called up each year and shall set the length of the service."
