Elimination of the watermark. Similar design to P90. The postcards have the word "postkarte" to the right of the vertical divider. Printed on dark cardboard.

In addition to the basic card there were many others available with private printing.

There quite a number of P90 postcards that were overprinted by private companies and below is a small selection of what was produced.

1. This first and second P96 postcard from my collection was sponsored by Mail order business Carl Lamashte, of Berlin.






3. This third P96 postcard from my collection was sponsored by a cigarette manufacturer "Heinrich Muller" of Bremen.
