BACKGROUND: This second series of postcards was published to commemorate the silver Jubilee of Kaiser Wilhelm II who was German kaiser from 1888 until 1918.

The reverse of this version has text offering said cards and Kaiser Wilhelm Jubilee coins by Kretschmer, Breslau.

PP27-C-238/03

In this version of the 5Pf card has text inscribed on the reverse side "Der König rief ..." in black-brown font.

PP27-C-238/04

In this version of the 5Pf card has text inscribed on the reverse side "Der König rief ..." in gold-brown font
