SILVER WEDDING #9
PP27-C-128
5Pf GERMANIA

BACKGROUND: Issued 1911. Three variations of this postcard exist based on the official P90 postcard. The cards were issued to commemorate the Silver Wedding Anniversary of King William II of Württemberg and his wife Charlotte of Schaumburg-Lippe.

The design on the reverse side of the cards is the same for all three cards as is the "Neues Württemberger Lied - Heil Württemberg". The difference can be found on the colour of the text and image on the front of the cards as follows:

PP27-C-128 / 01: Text is green, image on the reverse is brown
PP27-C-128 / 02: Like /01 but image and text are green
PP27-C-128 / 03: Image and text is red
PP27-C-128 / 04: Image is red-brown and text is red
