BACKGROUND: This is a series of four different postcards PP41-A-1 to PP41-A-4 all featuring a 3Pf and a 2Pf (with 4 horizontal bars).

PP41-A-1

This version of the card was produced on purple cardboard with the word "Postkarte" and no lines.

PP41-A-2

The A2 version has the words "Postkarte", "An" and "In". The "S" in the words 'Hausnummer' and 'Straβe' are closed.

PP41-A-3

The A3 version has the words "Drucksache", "An" and "In". The "S" in the words 'Hausnummer' and 'Straβe' are open.

PP41-A-4

the final version has the word "Postcard" officially obliterated and three lines "Drucksache", "An" and "Herrn" in cursive script. The card is made of chamois paper and the reverse side is blank.
