This replycard has a decoratiove border all around with the word "Deutschland" in the top-centre of the border. The pre-printed stamp is a 10Pf Germania stamp inscribed "REICHSPOST". The message side of the card has the inscription "Postkarte mit Antwort - Weltpostverein | Carte postale avec réponse payée - Union postale universelle". Additional text along the left-hand side running vertically upwards reads "Nur fur die Adresse". the destination has four dotted lines, the upper two lines are the longest, the third is the shortest and the fourth is longer than the third but shorter than the first two.

Issued: 1900. There are two variants of this replycard.

Type P48/01: border type 'b' on the Message (F) side, border type 'c' on the Answer (A) side.
Type P48/02: border type 'b' on the Message (F) side, border type 'd' on the Answer (A) side.
