OFFICIAL POSTCARD

Issued 1891. Domestic postcards with another form change "To" is now further to the left than "In". Date control data with numbers and lower case letters. Also with gap in the 4th dotted line, without watermark.
P30 exists in two variations:
P30-I: with a gap in the 4th dotted address line
P30-II: without a dot in the 4th address line.
Other Variations:
P30 I Fd I: Misprint: print date without letter.
P30 II Fd I: As above.
P30 I Fd II: Misprint: Without "An".
P30 PF I: Plate flaw. "C" in "REICHSPOST" under the line.
P30 Pf III: As above with thick white line under the right curl

Date Code 193i
1. The following domestically used P30-I postcard has a printer's code of 193i. It was sent from GOTHA to HEMER on 27th May 1893


Date Code 292g
2. Cancelled in PÖSSNECK on 24th Apr 1892, this P30-I postcard was also sent to HEMER, this time by a company named Ernst Weingarten of PÖSSNECK". The print control date is 292g.

3. The following P30-I was sent from NORDERNEY to HEMER on 24th Jun 1899. The card has a 292m print control code.

4. Below is another P30-I postcard, this one cancelled in FRIEDBERG and then later in OFFENBACH on 16th Mar 1894. The print control date is 293g.


5. Cancelled in OSTERODE on 2nd Mar 1894 this P30-I postcard was delived to an address in HILDESHEIM. The print control date on this example is also 293g



Date Code 392b
6. The next P30-I card was cancelled in STADTHAGEN on 28th Jun 1892 and was destined for BREMEN. The card also has a company stamp from "WILHELM BREIMEIER" a wine merchant in STADTHAGEN. The print control date is 392b.


7. The P30-I postcard below was cancelled in ARNSBERG on 26th Apr 1892 and was another card sent to HEMER. The print control date on this example is again 392b.

8. The following P30-I postcard has a printer's code of 394b and was sent from RUHLA to HEMER on 20th Apr 1894.


Date Code 691m
9. Posted in FRIEDBERG on 26th Aug 1897 and destined for DARMSTADT where it arrived later that day, this card has a print control date of 691m. The message on the reverse side is very odd.

10.This card was cancelled in KASSEL on 25th Sep 1891 and was destined for HEMER. The print control date is 791f.


Date Code 1003m
11. This next P30-I postcard was posted at an unknown railway postal office on 14th Mar 1895 and it arrived at its destination in OSTERODE the following day. The print control date is 1003m

12. Another P30-I postcard addressed to HEMER, this time from MÜNSTER on 7th Mar 1893. The printer's code on this example is 1092c.


Date Code 1092g
13. The following P30-I card was cancelled in DÜSSELDORF on 8th Feb 1895 and arrived at its destination in REULLINGEN the following day. It has a print control date of 1092g


Date Code 1292g
14. The next P30-I potcard was cancelled in BLANKENESE on 13th Feb 1893 and bears a company stamp on the reverse side from a law firm named "LOWENBAGEN" in BLANKENESE. This card too has a print control date of 1292g

15. The following P30-I card has a print date code 1093b and was cancelled in WEILBURG on 30th Jan 1894 and destined for HESSEN.

16. The next P30-I postcard has a 1093f printer's control date code was sent from FRANKFURT (MAIN) on 5th Dec 1893.

17. Another example of a P30-I card sent to HEMER, this time from OSNABRUCK on 14th May 1892. The printer's control code is 1191d.

18. The following P30-I card has a printer's control code of 1192a and was posted in DÜSSELDORF on 2nd Aug 1893.

19. Another P30-I postcard posted in FRANKFURT (MAIN), this time on the 21st Oct 1894 and was headed for FRIEDBERG. The example below has a print control code of 1193a
