OFFICIAL REPLYCARD

Issued 1882. Features an 1880 Michel 40 stamp. Inscribed along the top and centre 'DEUTSCHE REICHSPOST | POSTKARTE'. Domestic postcards with a print date on the bottom right, with P13 only the question side of the card has the print date. Address section has 4 simple lines of dots, with a gap in the 4th line of dots.

There are three versions of the P13 replycard:
P13-01-A : Plate A 54.5 and 41mm and gap between month and year
P13-02-A : Plate A 53 and 39.5mm, gap at position R5, without gap between month and year
P13-02-B : Plate B 53 and 39.5mm, gap at position L30, without gap between month and year
Valid print control data:
P13/01-A: Gap at R5 in 4th dotted address line and date 6 82, 7 82, 8 82, 9 82, 10 82, 12 82, 1 83, 2 83, 3 83, 7 83, 8 83, 9 83, 10 83 and 3 84.
P13/02-A: Gap at R5 in 4th dotted address line and date 484, 584, 684, 784, 884, 984, 1284, 185, 385.
P13/02-B: Gap at L30 in 4th dotted address line and date 484, 785, 885, 985, 1085, 1185, 1285, 186, 286, 386, 486, 686, 786, 886, 986, 1186, 1286 and 187
There are also two versions of P13 with a plate flaw as follows:
P13-PF-III: With a slash in the cross above the crown. This occurs on the P13/01 print date '3 84' and the P13/02 on cards with a print date 1185. P13-PF-VI: partially missing hatching in the sash of the left crown band
As well as the regular P13 cards there was also a number of privately overprinted cards.

The following card is the Message (F) portion of a P13/02-B replycard. The card was cancelled in WIESBADEN on 28th Jun 1887 and has a print control date of '386'.
