OFFICIAL POSTCARD
5 PFENNIG
Issued 1880. This postcard features a violet 5Pf 'Number in ellipse with small crown' value stamp inscribed "PFENNIG" (without the trailing 'E'). The text on the card reads 'DEUTSCHE REICHSPOST | POSTKARTE'. This card has print control gaps in the 4th dotted address line, but it does NOT have a date code on the bottom right-hand corner.

P10-PF-III : The cross on top of the crown is deeper than usual.
P10-PF-IV : Hatching in the sash of the left crown band partially missing
