ROHRPOSTKARTE
25 PFENNIG

Issued 1877. This Rohrpost Card features a 25Pf, dark red-brown 'Small Eagle in Ellipse' stamp with a "PFENNIG" inscription on dark rose card stock. The card inscription simply reads 'DEUTSCHE REICHSPOST | ROHRPOST-KARTE'. The value stamp for RP2 has strongly saturated colours, even after being produced 100 years ago. The card measures 125 x 88mm and is on dark rose coloured paper.

Unlike RP4 and RP5 it has only a single variant for the shape of the numbers "25", whereas RP4 and RP5 have three possible variants.
