BACKGROUND: This P. Wolff designed stamp was issued on 11th Mar 1944 and depicts flowers from the castle gardens in the foreground and in the background, from left to right, the Cathedral, Michaels Church and the Orangery. Printed photogravure by the Vienna State Printing Works this stamp was valid for use until May 1945.
