BACKGROUND: This Prof. Richard Klein designed stamp was issued on 30th Jan 1941 to celebrate German/Italian unity and friendship (dictators don't tend to have too many friends so they are worthy of celebrating).
There was a special postmark used only on the 30th of Jan 1941 in Berlin, Vienna and Munich.

UNRELATED SPECIAL HANDSTAMP
1). 6th Mar 1941. This special handstamp was used to commemorate the 1941 annual LEIPZIG spring fair.2). 4th May 1941. This special handstamp was used annually from 1939 until 1942 commemorate the Greater German Parliament or Reichstag.
3). 25th Nov 1941. This special handstamp is not directly related to this stamp but was used to highlight Europe's fight against Communism.

4). 13th Feb 1942. This special handstamp was used to commemorate the 'Day of German Police' in VIENNA on 13th Feb 1942.
