This series of 16 postcards features the uniforms worn by postmen in the various German states. The exact date of publication is unknown, however apart from the more common cards that did not have pre-printed stamps, there were around 60 complete sets that had pre-printed 3Rpf Hindenburg Medallion stamps (PP122-E-1/01 to 16). The cards with the pre-printed stamps are much rarer and hence much more expensive than the more common cards that are without pre-printed stamps.
