Issued 1902 with a pre-printed 10 Pf Germania stamp inscribed "DEUTSCHES REICH". This is the first of five Kartenbrief to feature a 10 Pf, Germania pre-printed stamp inscribed "DEUTSCHES REICH".

The text 'An' is below and to the left of 'Kartenbrief' and the distance from the first dotted address line to the 4th dotted address is 37mm (later K12 to K14 is 33mm).

Distinguishing features:
i) 'An' is below and to the left of 'Kartenbrief'
ii) distance between 1st and 4th dotted address lines is 37mm
