THIRD EBERT SERIES
P189 / 10
The third Ebert series of postcards appeared in 1930 and are refered to as P189 in the Michel series. This series comprises a total of 61 different cards. Cards of the third Ebert series differ from the first and second series by:
(1) The picture of the scene is now a photograph rather than a line drawing and
(2) There is a brief description of the scene beneath the photograph
(3) There is still no 'Lernt Deutschland Kennen!' title.
P189 / 10 features the town of COCHEM, a small town located on the Moselle River in the Rhineland Palatinate.
The inscription below the image reads "Luftkurort Cochem, Perle der Mosel" - 'Cochem, the pearl of the Moselle'
