38th GERMAN PHILATELIST'S DAY
(29th Jul/1st Aug 1932)

BACKGROUND: There were fourteen different printed-to-private-order postcards published to commemorate the 9th Bundestag and 38th German Philatelist's Day from 29th Jul to 1st Aug 1932. The first five feature a 3 Rpf Ebert pre-printed stamp, the next five feature a 6 Rpf Ebert pre-printed stamp and the remaining four feature a 5 Rpf Hindenburg Medallion pre-printed stamp. There are 5 different designs and each design exists with one of either of the three stamps (except for the blank card which does not exist with a 5 Rpf Hindenburg Medallion pre-printed stamp).

The 5 Rpf series was sold in a commemorative envelope as seen below (I don't know if that was the case for the 6 Rpf and the Hindeburg versions but it is quite likely that they were also sold in a commemorative envelope).

In addition to the cards with pre-printed stamps these cards were also available without an indicia.
